1. Essential cookies
Essential cookies are required to provide the service you request. They include session authenticity, security, load balancing, fraud prevention signals, and storing your cookie consent choice itself. These cookies do not require consent in most UK/EU frameworks, though we still describe them here for transparency. Disabling them via browser settings may break login, entry checkout or preference storage.
2. Functional cookies
Functional cookies remember choices such as interface preferences, dismissed notices (other than legally required banners), or language settings where offered. They make the experience smoother but are not strictly required. Where the law requires consent for this category, we only set them after you allow Functional cookies in the CookieConsent preferences.
3. Analytics cookies
Not currently used. SkillArena does not install Google Analytics or equivalent analytics tags at this time. The analytics category remains off in site configuration. If analytics tools are added later, this section will list the provider names and the consent banner will offer an Analytics choice before those scripts run.
4. Advertising cookies
Not currently used. SkillArena does not install Google Ads tags, remarketing pixels or other advertising cookies at this time. The marketing/advertising flag in configuration is off. If advertising technologies are added later, this policy and the consent banner will be updated first so users can accept or reject advertising cookies.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account features from working. For category-level control on this site, use the CookieConsent banner preferences rather than relying solely on browser blocking.
